Ice sprinter Dombek makes a comeback and starts at the European Championships

Sprinter Hendrik Dombek made a successful comeback after recovering from a muscle injury. The 27-year-old won both the 500 meters and the 1,000 meters in qualifying for the European Speed ​​Skating Championships and the upcoming World Cups in Erfurt. The German champion from Munich won the short sprint course in 35.86 seconds and the double distance in 1:09.95 minutes.

Dombek missed the first two World Cups due to an injury. He sustained the muscle injury in his thigh at the German championships after winning the 500 meter title.

Nomination for the Sprint European Championships

Dombek, like Moritz Klein from Erfurt, was nominated for the European Sprint Championships from January 10th to 12th in Heerenveen, the Netherlands.
