PSG lifts the Super Cup against Monaco thanks to Dembélé

Paris Saint-Germain won the French Super Cup this Sunday in the final held in Doha against AS Monaco, thanks to a goal from Ousmane Dembélé in the 92nd minute.

Luis Enrique’s team extended its dominance in the tournament’s record to its 13th Super Cup title, well above the eight of Olympique Lyon, second on the list.

Dembélé killed the final in a good counter against PSG that the former FC Barcelona player finished unopposed at the far post. The Parisian team had just beaten Monaco (2-4) two weeks ago in Ligue 1, but this time the match was much more even.

With a title at stake and with the return to the eleven of Denis Zakaria, the team from the Principality was different and stood up to PSG but could not avoid defeat in stoppage time, in the third consecutive French Super Cup for the capital team.
