Beautiful people for a beautiful tribute. Manchester United, the English club, honored one of its most loyal employees in the best possible way. Many former stars and current players attended the funeral of Kath Phipps, the Mancunian club’s receptionist for more than fifty years, who died on December 5 at the age of 85.
Club legend David Beckham was in attendance after paying a moving tribute on social media at the time of the death. Accompanied by his parents, the former number 7 of the Red Devils and co-owner of Inter Miami met during these commemorations Sir Alex Ferguson, the Scottish manager who gave a speech during the eulogy.
“It is unusual to have someone who is so committed and who loves people so much,” said the famous coach in comments reported by the Daily Mail.
Also present were Ruben Amorim and his staff, and all the players from the first team, young people from the training center as well as players from the women’s section. All dressed in the suit and tie of the English club.
