Fleury – Women’s PSG: despite the return of Geyoro, the Parisiennes remain silent and concede a draw

PSG in slow motion. A remake of last year’s Coupe de France final, the derby between Fleury and PSG this time did not find a winner. The daughters of Fabrice Abriel – who was returning to Fleury where he had coached for the last three seasons – did not manage to force the lock of the Essonniennes (0-0) this Tuesday evening during an advanced match of the 12th day of D1 Arkema. The meeting took place under the eyes of the Minister of Sports Marie Barsacq who therefore reserved her first official outing for women’s football at the Robert-Bobin stadium in Bondoufle. She was even offered a jersey autographed by the PSG players at the meeting.

The show on the pitch was very poor for 90 minutes. The Parisiennes could have opened the scoring during the first act with a cross shot from Marie-Antoinette Katoto close to the post (15th). Returning from the locker room, Fleury came close to claiming the scalp of PSG on a header from Ewelina Kamczyk but the ball crashed onto the crossbar (47th). Sidelined for three matches, Grace Geyoro played again with PSG. The thaw is therefore confirmed between the midfielder and her coach, Fabrice Abriel who chose to restart her for this resumption match in Bondoufle. She put in a decent performance, delivering some good balls to her teammates. Geyoro’s last match with PSG dates back to mid-November, against Reims (2-1). Since then, she had not played again with Paris even though she had played two matches with the France team.
