Why Wiener Austria is working on its purple identity in the training camp

Vienna Austria is taking off to Belek, Turkey, on Wednesday to prepare for spring training camp. Coach Stephan Helm and his team want to turn a few more screws.

“It’s about the purple identity and the rules for respectful cooperation.” Ralph Krueger, Werner Zöchling and assistant coach Christian Wegleitner will speak to the team.

In the technical and tactical area you want to take the next steps, both forward and backward. “We did very well against the ball from the eighth round onwards and were good defensively. Now it’s all about details.”

The game with the ball should become clearer and also richer in variations, i.e. it should be easier to find solutions on the offensive. The Violets can try out their achievements next Saturday in the first test against NS Mura and then the following week against FK TSC. The focus is on February 1st, when they face Sturm in the cup.
