An open personnel issue at FC Bayern could soon be resolved. According to “Bild”, the agent of left-back Alphonso Davies (24), Nick Househ, is in Munich this week for the “perhaps crucial negotiations” regarding a contract extension.
Davies’ contract, who is again showing convincing performances under coach Vincent Kompany, expires on June 30th. After a long period of speculation about a move to Real Madrid, there is now a lot to be said for staying at FC Bayern.
The Munich team continues to give particular priority to successful negotiations with the 21-year-old offensive player Jamal Musiala (contract until 2026) as well as DFB captain Joshua Kimmich (29), who could leave the club for free in the summer, just like Leroy Sané or Davies. The contract extension with goalkeepers Manuel Neuer (38) and Sven Ulreich (36) by one year is currently considered a formality.
