Work out|Argentina’s Geronimo Arias drew his last jaws of the year in front of the home crowd in Buenos Aires.
Argentinian social media influencer and influencer Geronimo Arias set himself a pretty jaw-dropping challenge for last year and survived it. The matter was reported by, among others, the Argentinian TN.
Known as Gero, Arias, 20, began his career on January 1, 2024 by pulling one jaw. The next day he pulled two and the day after that three.
Since last year was a leap year, that meant that on December 31, Arias was tasked with pulling 366 jaws.
The rules were clear: the feet must not touch the ground during the performance. Arias pulled her chins with a follow-up grip and rested her hands by hanging from the bar with one hand.
366 jaws in one day with rest breaks would be a tough task even for a fit person, but the almost continuous performance is really wild. I did so despite the fact that, based on the video, the jaws do not meet the strictest quality standards in terms of straightening the hands and raising the chin.
During his career, Arias pulled jaws, for example, in Rome at the Colosseum and in Paris at the Eiffel Tower. In Costa Rica, Arias was arrested after he pulled jaws from a bridge over a river full of crocodiles.
Arias pulled the last jaws in front of the home crowd in Buenos Aires. The thousands who attended celebrated wildly, and Arias herself burst into tears after the successful performance.
Arias already tried the challenge in 2023, but according to TN “only” made it to the 280th day. In social media, Arias’ activities and work monitoring have attracted quite a bit of interest, as the man currently has 6.3 million followers on Instagram and 9.5 million on Tiktok.
And it seems a new challenge is already underway: one-handed jaws.
