Ligue 1: why the matches broadcast by DAZN are postponed to 9:05 p.m.

As of the 17th day of Ligue 1, the LFP (Professional Football League) decided this Thursday that the kick-off of Saturday evening matches will be moved to 9:05 p.m. to allow “better editorialization” of the pre-matches.

On social networks, several subscribers to DAZN, broadcaster of L 1 since the start of the season, showed themselves disappointed by the channel’s pre-matches and the continuous advertisements during half-time of the matches. “Decided in consultation with DAZN, this arrangement will also apply for Friday evening at 9:05 p.m. in the event that a match is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Consequently, for the days already scheduled, the following kick-offs are postponed to 9:05 p.m.,” explains the League press release.

The changes apply from this weekend on the 17th and final day of the first leg.

Friday January 10: Auxerre – Lille at 9:05 p.m.

Saturday January 11: Stade Rennais – OM at 9:05 p.m.
