WNBA: Satou Sabally leaves Dallas: dream of a sister duo

National basketball player Satou Sabally no longer wants to play for the Dallas Wings in the WNBA in the future and dreams of working together with her sister Nyara. Together with fellow selector Leonie Fiebich, she won the title with New York Liberty last season.

“I have already played my last game for Dallas,” said Satou Sabally in a media round. She also told the Wings how grateful she was. “They have given me a home here for the last few years and I am working with them to find a new home for me,” said the 26-year-old. She was selected second overall by Dallas in the 2020 WNBA draft.

Last year, Satou Sabally only played 15 games for Dallas because of the Olympics and preparation for the tournament in Paris. Overall, she averaged 15.7 points, seven rebounds and 3.6 assists for the Wings.
