NBA: Without Stephen Curry: Schröder’s Warriors lose to Pacers

After their important win against the Detroit Pistons, the Golden State Warriors suffered a defeat almost 24 hours later. World champion Dennis Schröder’s team lost to the Indiana Pacers 96:108.

Since superstar Stephen Curry had to sit out with knee problems, the German took on more responsibility. However, Schröder only hit five of his 13 shots – scored twelve points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals. Indiana always found an answer to the Warriors’ harmless offense and had three players with over 20 points.

After 38 games played, the Californians are only in tenth place in the Western Conference.

Oklahoma is quickly rehabilitating itself

Things are going much better for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The best team in the West found the right answer to the defeat in the top game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and the series of 15 wins in a row that ended as a result. At the New York Knicks, Isaiah Hartenstein’s team won clearly with 126:101.

Thanks to a furious first quarter, the Thunder had already decided the game at halftime with a score of 70:43. As a starter, Hartenstein recorded six points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks.

Magic lose, Theis convinces from the bench

Despite a strong performance from returnee Paolo Banchero (34 points), the Orlando Magic – without the injured Franz and Moritz Wagner – had to admit defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks 106:109. Rookie Tristan da Silva once again showed his potential as a starter, contributing 16 points, ten rebounds and two assists.

The New Orleans Pelicans, who were behind in the East, were able to celebrate their eighth win of the season. Daniel Theis’ team won the Philadelphia 76ers with 123:115. The German world champion showed a good performance and had twelve points, four rebounds, one steal and one block from the bench.
