Hartenstein continues on the road to success with Oklahoma City

Basketball star Isaiah Hartenstein remains on the road to success with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The center dominated the game under the baskets in the 118:102 win in Philadelphia and led the Thunder with a strong 16 rebounds. As usual, teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored the most points on the floor with 32 points, while Hartenstein scored nine points. With 32 wins and only six defeats, Oklahoma City remains the undisputed leader in the West.

The hosts were missing the most important players under the baskets in Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond. Oklahoma City took excellent advantage of this again and again and brought Hartenstein into easy points via high passes to the basket – or from there into the position to put free teammates in the spotlight.

Clap for Dallas Mavericks

For Maxi Kleber and the Dallas Mavericks, the evening ended with a bitter defeat against the Denver Nuggets. Dallas trailed the entire game at 99:118 despite the return of star player Kyrie Irving. In particular, the Texans couldn’t get Jamal Murray under control; the Canadian put up 45 points.

Nikola Jokic, last season’s most valuable player, left the field to Murray and still managed a triple-double of ten points and assists as well as 14 rebounds. Kleber got ten points, three assists and one rebound in 18 minutes. Despite the bankruptcy, the Mavericks are sixth in the West and are on course for the playoffs.

Surprise by Theis’ Pelicans

World champion Daniel Theis and the New Orleans Pelicans won a surprising victory over the Chicago Bulls. The center contributed four points, seven rebounds, three assists and one steal to make it 119:113.

Despite the ninth win in the 41st game of the season, New Orleans remains in last place in the West.
