Liverpool suffocate Nottingham Forest and Chelsea remain blocked

Liverpool FC drew (1-1) this Tuesday away from home against Nottingham Forest during matchday 21 of the English Premier League, where Chelsea FC wasted the opportunity to get closer to the ‘red’ leadership due to their draw (2 -2) at home against AFC Bournemouth, while Manchester City did the same (2-2) at Brentford FC.

At the City Ground, Chris Wood soon put the hosts ahead with a low left-footed shot inside the rival area and close to the far post, after a good assist from Anthony Elanga between the lines. In a confident climb to the ‘citizen’ area, the Danish midfielder made it 2-2 with a header on a cross from Keane Lewis-Potter with his left foot on the wing. This placed Manchester City sixth with 35 points, ahead of Bournemouth in seventh place (34 pts.) and Fulham in ninth place (30 pts.) who lost 3-2 on their visit to West Ham United.
