Norwegian biathlon star Ingrid Landmark Tandrevoldin a special event was included in the Anterselva World Cup.

Tandrevold’s gun harness failed as he was approaching the firing point. Because of this, Tandrevold was unable to carry his gun normally on his back, but had to hold it in his hands as he approached the shooting site.

The video posted by the International Biathlon Federation on its X account shows how Tandrevold holds the gun with one hand on his shoulder when he comes to the shooting site and the barrel of the gun points forward.

I shot with the gun I had and got a spare before I left the shoot. No one can say that I would have benefited from the situation,” Tandrevold told NRK.

He cleared the ensuing shootout with one fine. He was satisfied with his performance, because the approach became difficult and the broken harness affected the balance of the gun.

Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation NRK reported after the competitionthat the event did not lead to Tandrevold’s rejection. Thus, he gets to join the chase, where he starts in 23rd place.

Tandrevoldin there have been twists and turns in the season. At the World Cup in Kontiolahti, he had to whistle after shooting due to arrhythmia. Because of that, after the race weekend, he underwent a heart operation, which kept him out of the races.
