Argel Fuchs talks about possible arrival of reinforcements

The technician Argel Fuchs ruled out the possibility of Paraná Club bring reinforcements for the Paraná Championship sequence.

In an interview after the 1-0 defeat to Azuriz, the coach spoke about the difficulty in signing new players. Tricolor will only compete in the Campeonato Paranaense in 2025 and has a guaranteed calendar only until February 15th.

“We have this group and we can’t bring anyone else. There’s no way we can bring a player to play for a month and a half. Which player will want to play for a month and a half? Changing places, I came with my family… I won’t, really to pay the guy R$100,000, which is not our case.

After taking the field with the same team in the first two rounds against Athletico and Operário, Paraná Clube changed the lineup in the following games against Andraus and Azuriz. The changes showed that the squad suffers from the lack of replacement.

Paraná club has members in the medical department

At the moment, four players considered starters are in the medical department: right-back Lucas Mazetti, with a ligament injury to his ankle; defender Yan Victor, midfielder Bruno Vinícius and striker Diego Tavares, all with a problem in their right thigh.

In addition to them, striker Kaio Nunes, with a problem with his left ankle, was also absent. Everyone should also stay out of the weekend game against Londrina.

“I didn’t see a lack of confidence in our team, I saw them playing, even with the football like that. Putting the ball on the ground, playing an aerial ball and more direct football. Paraná Clube has just two points and is in the relegation zone of the Campeonato Paranaense along with bottom team São Joseense. The disadvantage for the G8 has already increased to three points.
