The striker succumbed to the consequences of cancer at the age of 26. “The Eisbären Berlin are in shock,” wrote his employer in a press release, which in a nutshell not only expressed the stem in Berlin. After Eder immediately went out of treatment, his condition seemed to improve around the turn of the year.

Reason: Eder’s state of health “deteriorated critically”. Born in Tegernsee, he had come to Berlin via EC Bad Tölz, the EHC Red Bull Munich and Düsseldorfer EG 2023.
