PSG: Warren Zaïre-Emery, victim of an ankle sprain, could be absent for three weeks

The diagnosis fell, and it is undoubtedly a lesser evil for the midfielder of PSG, Warren Zaire-Emery. Touched Wednesday evening at the end of the game against Stuttgart, the French international suffers from a sprain from the left ankle, according to the club statement published Thursday afternoon.

If we have feared for a time that the knee will be affected, it therefore seems that it is only his left ankle that requires care. If the club does not specify the duration of its unavailability its absence, it is estimated at around three weeks. This seems to be short for a participation in the governing to go against Monaco or Brest, which will take place either on February 12. On the other hand, his presence in the return match, a week later, can be possible depending on the evolution of his injury.

Another midfielder, Joao Neves has received her right foot and will stay in care “these next days”. His presence against Brest on Saturday in Ligue 1, therefore seems compromised.
