The German football team Arminia Bielefeld continued his triumphal march in the DFB Cup on Tuesday and is in the semi-finals after the 2-1 home win against Werder Bremen.
The Bielefeld, who were first class three years ago, have already conquered two other Bundesliga clubs on the way under the last four with Freiburg and Union Berlin. Against Bremen, Marius Wörl (35th) and an own goal of Julian Malatini (41.) provided a 2-0 lead.
The Hanseatic League, in which Marco Grüll was exchanged for the break and Marco Friedl (injured) and Romano Schmid (ill) were missing, could only shorten Oliver Burke (56.). Leverkusen and Stuttgart had already secured the semi-final ticket before Bielefeld. The last semi -finalist will be determined between Leipzig and Wolfsburg on Wednesday.
