The Leões da Mocity School will parade at the Carnival of Curitiba this Saturday (1st), from 21h, at Avenida Marechal Deodoro, in the Center. This year, Lions will pay tribute to the centenary of the Athletico.
The composition of the samba was made by Paulo César Femaal, who signs the plot sambas of Viradouro and the independent youth of Father Miguel at the carnival of Rio de Janeiro.

The plot is inspired by the “four winds” of the Athletic shield (rebellion, enthusiasm, innovation and ambition), and will bring the club’s history in the history of the club, from the two -time Paraná championship of 1929 and 1930, the title of 1949, which gave the club the nickname Hurricane, to the most recent, national and international achievements, such as the 2001 Brasileirão, the Brazilian Cup of Brazil 2019 and the double championship of South American in 2018 and 2021.
Lions of Youth decided to keep the tribute even with the downgrade of the hurricane last year.
“A bond of love does not break into difficult times. The parade will not only be a celebration, but also a symbol of resistance, faith and passion for the history of Athletico Paraná,” says the school board.
