Athletico lends defender Matheus Felipe to Atlético-GO

The defender’s bond with the dragon is until the end of the season. Matheus Felipe was acting on the Athletico’s main team in 2025.

Under the command of coach Maurício Barbieri, there were seven matches played by the defender. However, the athlete was being very contested by the fans.

Last season, Matheus Felipe had already been loaned to Ceará, where he was part of Vozão’s access campaign to the elite of Brazilian football. There were 37 matches and a goal scored by the Ceará club.

Revealed by Mirassol, Matheus Felipe also passed Grêmio Prudente, Juventus Jaraguá and CSA, until he reached Athletico in 2022.

With his departure, Athletico has only four defenders in his main cast: Habraão, Tobias Figueiredo, Leo and Lucas Belezi. THE Veteran Thiago Heleno follows the clubbut away from the main team.
