Rafinha had her contract terminated with the club in a friendly way, on Wednesday (19), then participated in the Legend event of Bayern Munich, Germany, without having informed the Coxa.

Remember the controversy that made Rafinha leave Coritiba

Considered Coritiba’s main hiring for the season, Rafinha detonated a crisis at Couto Pereira. Last Monday (17), the player participated in a legend tournament of Bayern Munich, Germany, without the authorization of Coxa.

Through his social networks, the 39 -year -old revealed that he was released by Coxa and coach Mozart to attend a hearing in Germany, but that the club and his advice did not even know the athlete’s participation in the tournament.

“Coritiba didn’t even know about the tournament. I went because I wanted to, I take all the responsibility and if what I did is wrong, the only culprit is me,” lamented Rafinha.

The right-back also stressed that he had been invited by Bayern to participate in the tournament, but had not confirmed participation. “I went to this tournament by free and spontaneous desire, after all for me to lie something I have done many times since I was at Olympiacos and São Paulo, I always attended Bayern Munich events,” he wrote.

Rafinha, who returned to Couto Pereira after 20 years, played only ten games in his second pass at Coxa, nine in the Paraná Championship and one in the Brazilian Cup.

The right -back was on the field in the two early eliminations of Coritiba in the season – to Ceilândia, in the first phase of the Brazilian Cup, and to Maringá, in the quarterfinals of the Paraná Championship.
