For the World Cup after Japan, New Zealand also qualifies

After Japan, it is New Zealand that directly detaches the ticket for the
2026 World Cup. In the final deed of the ACC qualifications, the All Whites defeated the new Caledonia 3-0 at the Eden Park in Auckland, thus conquering their third participation in a final phase of the world championship after those of 1982 and 2010. The goals, all in the second half, bring the signature of Boxall (61 ‘), Barbarouses (66’) and Just (80 ‘). The new Caledonia will have a second chance to the Play-off FIFA tournament which will assign the last two places available and in which two national teams from Central-North, an Asian, an African and a South American will also participate.
