The Finnish skater had eased after entering the World Cup freelance program.

Linnea Ceder Solved both of their goals in the short program of the Figure Skating World Cup. Ceder skated in Boston late Wednesday evening to 20th place in Finnish time and secured a venue for the World Championship free program with 56.79 points.

The result also confirmed Finland for next year’s Winter Olympics.

Ceder was relieved when the worst excitement was over.

“I’m really happy. I’ve never been as excited as now. I am glad that I was able to keep the package together and make a routine performance,” Ceder said in a Figure Skating Association release.

Ceder suffered from the flu before the World Cup, but still felt successful in his practice. In his short program, he did well in the step series, but the last devil came to a small wobble.

Women’s Competition is led by the US Alysa liu Short program points 74.58. Japanese Mone Chiba is second before the US Isabeau Levitoa.
