World Snowboardcross: money and bronze for the French in Saint-Moritz

Two medals for France a few minutes apart. It was first the French Julia Pereira de Sousa, Olympic vice-champion of snowboardcross in Pyeongchang (South Korea) in 2018, which won the Bronze Medal of the 2025 Worlds on Friday in Saint-Moritz (Switzerland), one year from the Olympic Games 2026 in Milan-Cortina.

At 23, the Snowboarder from Isola 2000 was preceded by the Italian Michaela Moioli, Olympic champion 2018, and the British Charlotte Bankes, world champion in 2021. She is the first French world medalist in individual since the money of Chloé Trespeuch, in 2017 in Sierra Nevada.

Then, the French Loan Bozzolo (25) became vice-world champion of snowboardcross, winning the first individual world medal in the discipline since the title of Pierre Vaultier in 2017.

Friday, under the Sun of Graubünden Swiss, it was preceded by the Canadian Eliot Grondin and took the best race in the Austrians Alessandro Hämmerle (3rd) and Jakob Dusek (4th). A beautiful day for the tricolor snowboardcross and a good omen of the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games.
