Ski jumping: Domen Prevc jumped on a new world record

The world record is the second of the year for the prevc’s miracle family.

Slovenian Domen Prevc stretched to an incredible trick in the season’s final competition in Planica.

Known as a skilled air jumper, prevc led to a 254.5 meter ghost jump in the second round while breaking a world record.

The previous record was Austria Stefan Kraftin possessed. In 2018, he jumped a 253.5 meter jump in Vikersund, Norway.

Prevc’s siblings now hold both men’s and women’s world records.

He improved the world record twice over the weekend.

Prevcs won a whopping four gold medals in the Trondheim World Championships. Nika took both women’s personal World Championships, Domen won Gold in Suurmäki and the men’s team.

In addition, the siblings made up half of the team that jumped to the World Championship silver medal.

Planican Sunday’s competition was won by another favorite of the home audience Ants lanisk 247.5 and 241.5 meters with jumps.

He led the competition after the first round.

The jury lowered the launch of Lanisek after Prevc’s record jump. Still, he flew over HS-point and won the season’s final competition with a 7.1 point difference to the ME man prevc. German Andreas Wellinger completed the podium but clearly missed the Slovenian two.

Finnish Antti Aalto was 16th in the competition. In the second round, he rose three places up with a stunning 230.5 meter jump.
