The Spanish pilot and current MotoGP champion Jorge Martín (Aprilia) evolves in a favorable way of his wrist operation and, after undergoing an x -ray in Barcelona on Tuesday, the result was the “expected” and thus approaches his possible return and debut in this MotoGP World Cup for the next quote of Catar.
“Jorge Martín underwent a radiographic follow -up yesterday. The evaluation is positive since it is clearly appreciated a bone callus at the level of the fracture of the scaphoid. The synthesis screw is well placed and tolerated, which confirms the expected and correct result of surgery,” repaired Aprilia Racing in a statement.
‘Martinator’, which was silent and injured during the preseason, could be closer to reappearing in the circuits, since the bone callus-formed around the fracture-is part of the healing process and is a positive sign in its recovery.
“Now we expect more information as Qatar’s GP approaches, with Martin confirming that he will probably travel to the place, but his participation is not yet 100%confirmed,” MotoGP revealed.
Next week Jorge Martín will undergo a new check -up, and then he will also have to pass the medical examination by the doctors of the championship to obtain the ‘Fit To Race’ (‘Read to run’) and be able to return to action, after missing the first three races in Thailand, Argentina and the Americas.
