Hockey influencer Frank Moberg is dead. The first thing was to say Evening leaf. Moberg, who died on Thursday, was 85 years old.
Moberg was a well -known hockey influencer and a long -time CEO of HIFK.
He served as Chairman of HIFK from 1976 to 1990 and CEO of the club from 1987 to 2001.
In his career, Moberg also served as national team leader, SM League Federal Government and NHL Club Quebec Nordiques talent search.
Moberg was nominated for Finland’s ice hockey line 125 in 2000.
Moberg commented on HIFK’s excerpts on Wednesday after the club’s season ended in the quarter -finals with a match against 0-4 SaiPa.
He spoke disappointed about the HIFK season. Moberg said he had watched almost all HIFK league matches this season.
“It was visible for a long time that the job was not done. So, unbelievable, with that gang and that coach. I’m very disappointed,” Moberg comments after Wednesday’s match.
Moberg was behind HIFK during the first six championships in the club. Moberg has been awarded the HIFK Golden Badge and the Golden Ring of the HIFK League.
