PSG: the Champions League trophy on display at each match at the Parc des Princes

Parisian supporters will be able to enjoy the most beautiful cup won by their club. Paris Saint-Germain announced on Friday that it would display its Champions League trophy at the Parc des Princes during each home match this season, to allow “as many people as possible to experience this moment of emotion and shared pride”.

Against Nice in Ligue 1 this Saturday (5 p.m.), “the trophy will be installed in the Paris Tribune, before continuing its tour through the emblematic spaces of the Parc des Princes” and “different stands”, indicates the club in a press release. “Only ticket holders for the areas concerned will be able to access the areas where the trophy will be installed,” specifies PSG.

Already exhibited at the Park

“Through their passion and loyalty, the Rouge & Bleu supporters have contributed to writing this historic page for the club,” continues the capital club, which defeated Inter Milan in the C1 final (5-0) last May. “Paris Saint-Germain today wishes to allow them to approach this symbol of collective success. »

The trophy owned by PSG is a replica – in a slightly reduced model – of the real Big Ears Cup. It had already been exhibited in certain areas of the Parc des Princes and at the “PSG House”, a pop-up store set up in Los Angeles during the Club World Cup in June.
