Filip Zubčić with a fantastic second run, he reached third place in the giant slalom race in Copper Mountain after finishing 13th in the first run. The Croat almost missed finishing second, Henrik Kristoffersen was only five hundredths of a second faster. After the race, Samuel Kolega congratulated Zubčiću on social networks.
“Honesty returned quickly from Gurgl”, wrote Colega alongside a photo of a smiling Zubčić, alluding to Filip’s move from the last race in which he himself reported hacking the door after he was subsequently disqualified from the first race.
This is the first podium for Zubčića after Adelboden and January 6, 2024, and with a new 60 points he made his way to 11th place in the overall ranking and sixth in the giant slalom.
