Montreuil-Granville: eliminated in the Coupe de France, the Normans file a protest because “several players should have been suspended”

Is FC Montreuil’s place in the round of 32 of the Coupe de France threatened? The US Granvillaise has in any case decided to question it. This Monday, two days after the 8th round of the competition won by the Ile-de-France residents on penalties (1-1, 4-3 tab), the Normandy team filed a complaint with the French Football Federation.

“The club noted that several FC Montreuil players should have been suspended for this meeting,” the club wrote in a press release published on its social networks. Having concrete information at our disposal, we transmitted our entire file this morning to the competent authorities of the French Football Federation. »

For the moment, the Seine-Saint-Denis club has not yet reacted to this complaint. Last club in the department in the Coupe de France and appearing only in the four Ile-de-France clubs alongside PSG, Paris FC and Lusitanos Saint-Maur, FC Montreuil could lose its place in these 32nd finals.

The draw for this 9th round, with the entry of Ligue 1 clubs, is scheduled for this Monday evening at the Parc des Princes in the presence of Pauleta, Cléopâtre Darleux, Jade Le Guilly and Frédéric Piquionne.
