Joel Pohjanpalo’s wild streak continues – two more goals

Joel Pohjanpalo has hit five times in the previous two matches.

Screamers striker star Joel Pohjanpalo is in a frenzy.

Pohjanpalo scored two goals on Sunday, when his club Palermo beat Empoli 3-1 away from home.

First, Pohjanpalo scored from the back post after a corner kick to give Palermo a 2–0 lead, and in the 74th minute, he skilfully took possession of the ball near the goal post and powerfully charged into the bottom corner. Pohjanpalo’s second hit sealed the winning numbers 3–1.

This is how Pohjanpalo dribbled the ball into the goal from the back post.

Pohjanpalon is in a terrible shock, because last weekend he nailed a hat-trick in Carraresen’s net in a 5-0 win. The goal was also scored in the previous match, so Pohjanpalo has scored six times in the previous three games.

Pohjanpalo already raised his season goal tally to ten. He leads Serie B’s goal exchange with a difference of three goals to the next ones.

Played in the match with Palermo’s goal Jesse Joronen.

Palermo is now in third place in Serie B and fighting for promotion to Serie A.
