Finland crushed Denmark in the World Cup quarter-final, Veera Kauppi scored six points

The Czech Republic will play in the semi-final.

Finland the women’s national floorball team defeated Denmark crushingly 14–2 in the quarter-finals of the World Cup and advanced to the top four.

As Finland’s power players, the powers of 4+2 forged Veera Shop and done a hat trick Suvi Hämäläinen.

Finland ran away already in the opening set by scoring six goals against Denmark’s one.

Finland knocked out Slovakia and Poland in the group stage, but drew with Sweden. Finland’s goal difference is 48–10 after four matches.

In the semifinals, Finland will face the host country, the Czech Republic, which defeated Norway 9–2 in its own quarterfinal. Switzerland and the winner of the Sweden-Latvia match will play in the second semi-final.

Swedish has won the previous nine world championships. Finnish women have celebrated World Cup gold twice, in 1999 and 2001.
