Alpine skiing: Eduard Hallberg third in Valloire

Finland alpine Eduard Hallberg finished third in the giant slalom European Cup competition held in Valloire, France on Tuesday.

Britain won the race Freddy Carrick-Smithwhich was 0.19 seconds faster than Hallberg. Norway took second place Hans Grahl-Madsen. Finland’s second representative Turo Torvinen drove out in the second round.

“Third place and good points, a really important result. It’s nice that the giant slalom is also going well. The race is long and the physics also held up in the harsh conditions of the second run. Tomorrow, I’ll look for a similar performance,” Hallberg said in Ski Sport Finland’s press release.

Vallorei also counts on Wednesday.

22 years old Hallberg has won one European Cup race this season. He was first in the giant slalom in Zinal, Switzerland, on December 5.

In the World Cup, Hallberg was third in Levi’s slalom race in November. The podium finish was the first of Sipoa’s career at the World Cup level.
