Argentine Santiago Montiel received the Puskás Award for the best goal for his bicycle kick in the match that his team, Independiente, played against Independiente Rivadavia. On the contrary, the fans exclusively decided the winner of the FIFA Fan Award, and a panel of experts decided the winner of the FIFA Fair Play Award.
