NHL: Darcy Kuemper was injured handling Mikko Rantanen

Los Angeles Kings says that he has set a goalkeeper Darcy Kuemperin to the NHL’s list of injured players.

This means Kuemper, who was injured in the night before Tuesday, will be out for at least a week.

Dallas Stars Mikko Rantanen pounded his former teammate from Colorado in front of the goal.

Rantanen was not relieved by the situation, but his goal was disallowed.

The Finnish star who drove to the goal struggled with the Kings’ defender Brian Dumoulinin with while bumping into Kuemper. The blow seemed to hit the goalkeeper’s head.

Rantanen regretted the unfortunate situation after the match and told Kuemper that he regretted it.

“It was sad to see him fall on the ice. When I left, I told him ‘my fault’. I hope he won’t be sidelined for long”, Rantanen quoth.

He skated instead of Kuemper in the match Anton Forsbergwho had to surrender to Rantanen at the end of the third set. The goal gave Dallas a 3–1 lead before Wyatt Johnston scored a 4–1 goal in an empty pocket.

Rantanen has now scored 14+30 in his 33 matches of the season, with which he is fifth in the league’s points market. Rantanen, who has been involved in rough situations this season, also leads the league’s ice hypermarket with his 67 minutes.

Kuemper is in his second year in Los Angeles, where he has saved with strong statistics. This season’s balance from 23 matches is ten wins with a save percentage of 91.7 and an average of 2.19 goals conceded.
