Problems “on and off the piste”, Feller was still the best ÖSV runner

Last year’s winner Timon Haugan had to have his damaged back treated between the two rounds; the Norwegian ultimately took 4th place.

The best Austrian was Manuel Feller in 11th place.

Marco Schwarzwho won the giant slalom on Sunday, was eliminated in the second run at the last blue gate. It seemed as if he had gone too fast for the final passage. “It was quite positive while driving. I pushed until the end, but unfortunately it didn’t quite work out.”

Feller: “It’s nobody’s business”

Manuel Feller admitted after the 2nd run: “In certain passages I wasn’t that keen. It’s just a bit difficult for me at the moment on and off the piste. I really need the few days off now.” When asked, he wanted to know what problems Feller had outside of it Rainer Pariasek don’t say it on ORF. “That’s nobody’s business right now.”

Fabio Gstrein was fourth after the first run, but fell back to 13th place in the second run behind Manuel Feller and Michael Matt (12th place).

Johannes Strolz Didn’t get going at all in the first run and missed the second run, 2.49 seconds behind, in the same way Dominik Raschner 1.84 seconds behind.
