Mercato: Mönchengladbach covets Leverkusen’s French defender Jeanuël Belocian

Across the Rhine, Jeanuël Belocian is coming back well. Returning to competition at the beginning of October after a year marked by a ruptured cruciate ligament which kept him away from the field for eight months, the left-handed defender from Bayer Leverkusen has regained playing time in recent weeks.

Author of a solid performance in the Champions League against Manchester City (2-0 victory, November 25), the 20-year-old former Rennais relaunched with the 2024 German champion by playing ten matches (435 minutes), in all competitions. A return to form which does not go unnoticed as the winter transfer window approaches, which officially starts on January 1, 2026.

According to our information, Borussia Mönchengladbach, 12th in the Bundesliga, has identified his profile and would like to welcome him on loan for the second part of the season.
