The match was decided by a brace, with a goal in each half, by David Neres. Conte’s team then also beat the Italiano’s, lifting the second trophy of his management after last year’s scudetto, after overcoming Milan in the semi-final.
The two teams will return to the field for the 17th matchday of Serie A: Napoli will challenge Cremonese away, Bologna will host Sassuolo.
