Serious fall in training: ÖSV Olympic champion misses the Winter Games

The new year begins for this ÖSV ski team with one Bad news. World champion and Olympic champion Katharina Liensberger had a serious fall during giant slalom training in St. Michael and sustained a knee injury.

The Vorarlberg native underwent surgery on her right knee on Friday. Liensberger will therefore miss the Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina.
