Ski World Cup, Franzoni third in the Wengen downhill. Odermatt wins

Giovanni Franzoni continues to amaze in World Cup. After yesterday’s success (the first of his career) in the Super-G in Wengen, Switzerland, the blue took third place today in the downhill. The race was won by Marco Odermatt with a time of 1’33″14, ahead of the Austrian Vincent Kriechmayr and the Italian, author of another good performance (90/100 distant). At the foot of the podium the two Swiss Franjo Von Allmen and Alexis Monney, sixth Dominik Paris. Christof Innerhofer finished in tenth place, Florian Schieder 12th.

Tomorrow the Wengen stage will be completed with the slalom: first run at 10am, second at 1pm.
