Die Leaders in the Discipline World Cup landed on the challenging “Erta” slope in the first round on Tuesday morning Third place.

On the Swedish one Frontrunner Sara Hector The Styrian was only 0.39 seconds short. In between lay the Swiss Camille Rast (+0,15).

The journey was impressive Federica Brignone. The Italian made it on her comeback after 292 days of injury initially in race one Seventh place.

“It wasn’t a perfect ride,” said Scheib on ORF. The three-time season winner has never been better than ninth in the World Cup at Kronplatz, so be it actually her “favorite slope”.

Scheib was even better at making the decision. “I didn’t think about the possible ball in the World Cup,” said the Austrian, who once again attacked coolly.

Scheib had a great lead, especially at the finish, and increased the lead over the leader who had meanwhile been leading Mikaela Shifrin once again clearly, it was 86 hundredths in total.

Things got tighter Camille Rast. The Swiss wanted to attack for victory, but starting from second place she was distanced by Scheib.

Then all that was missing was Sara Hector. But the Swede also failed to displace Scheib. The Swede ended up in third place, Julia Scheib has won again.

Brignone amazing

Then came Federica Brignone. After just 13 days on snow, the Italian was back at world-class level: the 35-year-old left Moltzan behind.

Brignone could be at Olympia back on the podium after her horror fall in the spring: the overall World Cup winner did the same on her return Sixth place.

ÖSV trio improved
