Pagode, scratched Porsche and defeats: Athletico’s hot scenes

On the field, for the State, in Baixada, the Athletico Atletiba lost yet another (1 to 0) and was defeated by the poor Azuriz, in Pato Branco (2 to 1).

But it was off the field that the first discomforts of the year occurred: the pagoda circle that attracted the public to the charming Boulevard, you see, was transferred to Bar da Brahma, a privileged place in Baixada, facing Viveros’ goals. As a pagoda is a pagoda, the bar’s traffic tripled.

Who is the manager of “Bar da Brahma”? Doctor Ana Lúcia Petraglia, daughter of the president Mario Celso Petraglia. So far, so good. It’s the game that is played at Athletico. I just don’t understand how a well-educated Harvard girl is going to manage a pagodeiros bar.

Inexplicable things happen at Athletico

Coach Odair Hellmann had nothing to do with it. Fulfilling a boy’s dream, with the dollars he earned in Saudi — even though he was demoted there —, he bought a Porsche, worth R$600,000. Well, look again, Professor Odair’s Porsche dawned with the writing: “Second division”. Could it be a “thigh” thing? I bet so.

These small upsets had a consequence: before the Brasileirão even started, the fans were already shouting: “We want time”. But I ask the fans: how can you demand a team if your idol, Hellmann, says that the club doesn’t have money?

Little things like these at Athletico always gain dimension and generate big consequences. If they lose to Internacional, in Beira-Rio, Baixada will be fuming against Corinthians.

All because of an Atletiba, a pagoda and a Porsche.
