Former football player provoked Arsenal fans: ‘I don’t want them to win the title, they’re morons’

Former football player Troy Deeney raised a lot of dust after declaring that he hoped that Arsenal which is currently the leader in the Premier League, will not be able to achieve great success this season. The former Watford captain, who is known to have ‘no hair on his tongue’, has been waging a media war with Gunners fans for years, and the conflict recently reached a new level when he unabashedly called them ‘morons’.

Deeney was a guest on a podcast criticizing Arsenal’s performance. In the last five games of myčad Mikel Artete she achieved three wins and two draws. They recorded their last victory against Tottenham (4-1), but they dropped important points against Wolverhampton.

– Arsenal fans have a distorted perception. When they win, it’s as if the last week and a half, two, three weeks, months never happened. You know, when everyone was panicking and saying: ‘If we lose to Spurs, the season is over and Arteta has to go,’ he said in a guest appearance on the podcast “The Football Exchange”.

– Then they beat a terrible Spurs team, really terrible, and suddenly it was: ‘Yes, we will win the league, we will win everything, the triple crown’. Honestly, that’s the only reason I don’t want Arsenal to win the league. Not because of the club, but because of the fans. They are **** morons – concluded the former football player.

Arsenal will host Chelsea on Sunday, and the match is scheduled for 17:30.
