It’s a winter of superlatives Johannes Lamparter. That the Nordic Combiner made from rum this winter all crystal balls would win was already clear before the World Cup final.
At the legendary Holmenkollen in Oslo, Lamparter made one happen on Sunday a worthy end to the winter: The 24-year-old was the first Austrian since 2008 (Bernhard Gruber) to win in the mecca of Nordic sports.
23 World Cup victories
Johannes Lamparter wrote a piece of Austrian combined skiing history. The three-time Olympic medalist celebrated his 23rd World Cup victory in Oslo. With that he moved with the combined legend Felix Gottwald same and is now number 1 in this ranking.
