Ligue 1: Rennais Henrick Do Marcolino turns pro, Adrien Truffert’s little brother will imitate him

It has become as much a meeting for the supporters as for the managers who organize their schedule in relation to these signatures. After Elias Quiñonez, Ruben Lomet, Chibuike Ugochukwu, Junior Aké, Issa Habri and very recently Mohamed Chebbi, Stade Rennais, 7th in Ligue 1, will register two new neopros this week.

The first, Henrick Do Marcolino, member of the Do Marcolino siblings with Alan and Jonathan (turned pro last summer before being loaned to National to Bourg-en-Bresse), is preparing to sign a three-year lease. Negotiations undertaken over several weeks have resulted in an agreement. This young attacking midfielder born in 2006 is starting to make his mark in the first team. At the end of February, he made three benches in Ligue 1, playing his first professional minutes in Auxerre (0-3, February 22).

The signing of Do Marcolino will be followed in a few days by that of Florian Truffert, little brother of French international Adrien, who now plays for Bournemouth. This training midfielder, likely to play as a full-back, had participated in pre-season preparation with the professional group. He too will sign for three years.
