Alcaraz eliminated in Miami, sensational knockout against Korda

Carlos Alcaraz eliminated by Miami. Today, Sunday 22 Marchthe Spanish tennis player was beaten by the American Sebastian Korda, world number 36, in the third round of the American Masters 1000 in three sets with a score of 3-6, 7-5, 4-6 in two hours and twenty minutes of play.

Alcaraz then leaves Miami, against all odds, at the end of a poorly approached match in which he managed to find the spark to react during the second set. Korda in fact found himself serving for the match in the tenth game, leading by a break at 5-4, but suffered a counterbreak from the world number one, who then won the set 7-5.

The American, however, was not discouraged and managed to break Alcaraz’s serve again in the third and decisive set, managing to resist the Spaniard’s return and thus conquer a sensational round of 16 final.
