Deniz Undav will not be able to carry the trophy home in a plastic bag from this international match evening. So he cheerfully acknowledged that in the first half of this football game he was going to Man of the Match without having taken part in the first half of this match. He was cheered and sung about, and once he briefly stood up from the substitutes’ bench and waved to the audience.
