Unicaja eliminates ALBA Berlin and enters another Final Four of the Basketball Champions League

Unicaja de Málaga won this Wednesday 85-88 against ALBA Berlin, with extra time included, in the second game of their quarterfinal tie in the Basketball Champions League (BCL), with the Malaga team winning this match 2-0 and entering the Final Four of the tournament.

Despite paving the way to victory after the break, the Andalusian team suffered in the fourth period and ALBA forced extra time in front of their home crowd. However, Unicaja performed well again in extra time and finally sealed a victory with the prize of advancing to the round.

Nihad Djedovic and Emir Sulejmanovic stood out in scoring, with 17 and 15 points in their respective boxes. In this way, Ibon Navarro’s pupils will compete in the BCL Final Four for the fourth consecutive season, this edition being in Badalona from May 7 to 9.

BC Rytas has also already secured its presence, having eliminated ERA Nymburk 2-0 in its tie. Meanwhile, there are two draws (1-1) in the match between La Laguna Tenerife and Galatasaray and also in the match between AEK Athens and Asisa Joventut.
