Tuchel bid farewell to Bayern Munich with a heavy defeat

German coach Thomas Tuchel ended his journey with Bayern Munich in a bad way and with a heavy defeat, losing 4-2 to Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Bayern Munich took a two-goal lead in the first minutes of the match, with Matthijs Till scoring the first goal in the 4th minute, and Alphonso Davies adding the second in the 6th minute, and then the team started conceding goals.

Maximilian Paire scored Hoffenheim’s first goal in the 8th minute, assisted by Andrej Kramric, who added 3 goals in the 68th, 85th and 88th minutes of the match.

Tuchel did not just lose the match, as Bayern Munich lost second place in the German League standings to the Stuttgart team, which won 4-0 over Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Despite his bad season, Thomas Tuchel’s name was linked to coaching Manchester United, succeeding Dutchman Eric Ten Hag, who is also going through a difficult season.
