Capital gains between Inter and Roma, the Milan prosecutor's office moves

Capital gains between Inter and Roma under the spotlight of the Milan prosecutor’s office who opened a fact-finding file, the so-called ‘model 45’ (without any hypothesis of crime or suspects), after the transmission of the documents of the magistrates of the Capital of an excerpt of the investigation into the case against the former leaders of Roma.

In recent days ‘Il Fatto Quotidiano’ had published the excerpt – transmitted under territorial jurisdiction – on alleged false company communications, on the 2018 transfer transactions between Inter and Roma relating to the players Radja Nainggolan, Davide Santon and Nicolò Zaniolo.

The Milan prosecutor’s office had already investigated the capital gains of the Nerazzurri team, dismissing the charges having not detected any conduct on the part of Inter or its top management aimed at altering the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 budgets.

The file has been assigned to prosecutor Giovanni Polizzi, while prosecutors Pasquale Addesso and Roberta Amadeo are responsible for investigating the other fact-finding file born from a complaint from the Jdentità Bianconera foundation which, after having turned to sports justice and Covisoc, decided to turn to also recent to ordinary justice. The complaint raised by the lawyers is that Inter did not have the necessary requirements for registration in the last championship and in particular lacked the guarantees to support “business continuity”.

FIGC prosecutor closes proceedings on Milan

The FIGC federal prosecutor’s office has closed the proceedings on the transfer of ownership of Milan from Elliott to Red Bird, which took place in August 2022. The investigation by Giuseppe Chinè’s office was opened last March after the acquisition of part of the documents from the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office investigating the financial operation.
