As a consequence, Coritiba left the player out of the match against Esmeraldino – and he will not be used again until the contract situation is resolved. Ronier’s manager regrets his decision to leave
In an interview with Nadja’s blog, Marcelo Mengoni, representative from Mengoni Sportsregretted the decision to remove his client.

I am very sorry that the club does this to a player who has never had a problem, who wants to renew, who has been playing, who likes the club and who is now banned from working. It’s regrettable. Mengoni confirmed a verbal agreement for renewal, at a meeting in April, but pointed out that the contract had clauses that were not within the agreement and that is why the extension was stuck.
With two goals and two assists in 18 appearances this season, Ronier established himself as a starter for the Whites. He started playing eight of the last nine matches and his termination fine is around 50 million euros for European teams (around R$280 million) and R$30 million for the national market.
